8th and some 9th graders living in the five NYC boroughs take the SHSAT (Specialized High School Achievement Test) in October. Those who do well are offered a place in a Specialized High School. The fourth weekend of October.
How long is the test?
3 hours total. There are 57 questions each for Math and Verbal sections.
What do I need to score to get into a Specialized High School?
